BOI Quiz
From Battle of the Immortals Wiki
The BOI Quiz is an event introduced in the 1.8 Update.
Contents |
Entering
The Quiz runs between 19:30 and 19:45 every day. You don't have to visit an NPC to join the event - you get a popup window inviting you to the event 1 minute before it starts. The questions are asked and must be answered in real time, so you must be punctual if you want to attend the event.
The quiz consists of 30 questions. Before every question you have 5 seconds to read it, then you must answer within 15 seconds. After this period is up, the correct answer is displayed for 5 seconds and you can check on the status of the top 10 players. You get quiz score based on your reply time and combo. You also have 3 "lucky gems". You can use up to 1 lucky gem per question. If your answer was right, the score you get for that question is doubled.
Scoring
For each correct answer you get 25 points for answering in the first second, but this score is decreased by 1 for each second spent not answering. Your combo is increased by 1 and then added to the score unless it's a combo of 1. If you used a Lucky Gem, the result is doubled. Answering incorrectly not only gives you no points but resets your combo to 0. With perfect play, you get 25 points for the first question, 27 for the second, 28, 29, ..., 52 for questions 3~27; 106, 108 and 110 for the last 3 questions by using the lucky gems, totaling 1376 points.
Rewards
EXP is awarded for participation, with the exact number depending on your level and score. The top 10 finishers get a reward pack containing Deluxe Purses and coins.
IMPORTANT: The rewards for places 1, 2 and 3 are only given out once per week for the same person. This resets on Sunday. If you reach one of these places twice between resets, you won't get the reward for the second time.
Answers
The questions seem to be grouped as follows:
- 1, 2, 3: BoI related
- 4: General entertainment / Celebrities
- 5, 6, 7, 8, 9: History, Mythology and Geography
- 10, 11: Sport
- 12, 13, 14: Movie and TV
- 15, 16, 17, 18, 19: Music
- 20, 21, 22: Literature
- 23, 24: Mathematics
- 25, 26, 27, 28: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy and other sciences
- 29, 30: Games in general
NOTE: When adding answers, make sure you preserve the form from IN THE GAME. This includes spelling it exactly the same way as the game, preserving any typos, and of course not correcting the answer if the answer in the real world is different from the one in the game. Avoid adding partial answers, as sometimes it's easier to search for an answer than a question.
These may appear as question 1, 2 or 3 in the quiz.
